Likewise Lahore is the Capital of Punjab, Peshawar is Capital of KPK & Quetta is the Capital of Baluchistan. Along with this a Capital Territory Team is named at Capital Islamabad where as Multan  representing Province of Central Punjab.

PSL 2018 teams are allowed to have eighteen players who are assigned the batches of the teams under the specific contract highlighting the terms and conditions. No franchise can hold more the 4 offshore players on their sides whereas it is also mandatory to add 2 beginner players in each FRANCHISE.

Karachi Kings team has been the integral part of PSL since the league Started. On 03 December 2015, PCB unveiled the franchises to interested parties. Karachi franchise was bought by Salman Iqbal CEO ARY Media Group for US $26 Million for the period of Ten Years. Karachi Kings is the most expensive franchise of the PSL. After having a pair of really underwhelming seasons, the Karachi Kings will need to do a lot better in this 3rd season of the Pakistan Super League. If the owners wants to have the trophy in their hand in PSL 2018 Karachi Kings need to do something out of the box.

A similar shocking decision is of dropping of Christopher Henry Gayle as he is considered as the deadliest batsman of the T20 world as he is such kind of a player who can mesmerize you in any game. Letting burst off Chris Gayle, they have got managed to maintain again Pakistan’s Usman Khan and Usama Mir while Ravi Boparai gets some other pass.  His wibble-wobble medium-pacers can be of use on sluggish and sluggish surfaces.

The facet might be led with the aid of Imad Wasim and also will have Babar Azzam and Mohammad Amir of their line-up, thereby making it a side this is very dependent on their Pakistani Players to dish out an awesome overall performance throughout the 3rd PSL Season.

Retained players:

As a deal, Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi exchanged their draft pick orders in the gold and silver categories, meaning Peshawar were able to pick ahead of Karachi in those two categories in exchange of Afridi. According to the rules, since Peshawar Zalmi were the winners of the last edition, they were supposed to get the last pick each round. In addition to Afridi, Karachi Kings brought in Mohammad Rizwan from Lahore Qalandars in exchange for Sohail Khan.

LAHORE QALANDARS

Lahore Qalandars (LQ) is a professional PSL franchise. This team represents the Lahore city of Punjab Province in Pakistan. Lahore Qalandars has home ground in Lahore “Gaddafi Stadium”. This franchise is owned by Qatar Lubricants Company Limited (QALCO). Brendon McCullum is the captain of the Lahore Qalandars team while Paddy Upton is the coach of the side. Owners of this franchise are Ali Naqvi & Amna Naqvi.

Appeared to be a moderate combination in the beginning but the end of the 1st season of PSL was simply sublime as Sharjeel Khan scored a century in the eliminator against Peshawar Zalmi and got the momentum by beating them and finally carried the momentum to win the 1st season of PSL. In the 2nd Season, the team was hit by the spot fixing scandal where 3 key players (Khalid Latif, Sharjeel Khan and Irfan) have to leave for their homes, this was a big shock for the United which they couldn’t recover till end and couldn’t defend their title, but with the new year, new season, United will definitely rise to gain the glory once again.
